BMW’s M3 is the evergreen performance coupe, but just how good is the saloon version? AMG can make Mercs go fast in a straight line, but what about around corners? And then there’s Lexus, the Japanese brand that has majored on luxury since it launched nearly two decades ago. Except now they’ve gone and made an IS with a 5.0-litre V8.
