Fort Worth/Dallas area dirt track and dragway schedule (Aug. 28-30)

Fort Worth and Dallas area tracks and dragways. If the forecast calls for inclement weather, check the track Web sites or call the track to make sure the racing is still on schedule:

Cowtown Speedway (Kennedale)
Aug. 29 (Saturday):
ASCS Sprints vs. Cowtown Sprints, plus regular schedule of Limited Modifieds, Winged 600s, Street Stocks and Bombers
Schedule: Grandstands open at 5 p.m.; racing starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets: $15 for adults; $5 for ages 6-11; $2 for ages 3-5; children under 3 are free with adult ticket. Pit passes are $30. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the track Web site at no additional cost.
