Smiley Sitton’s Sprint Series of Texas held their season opener at Cowtown Speedway Saturday. There were over 30 SST Sprints in the pits. In the feature, Jason Howell, #44, took the early lead, but mechanical problems send him to the infield. Jerry Hammock quickly took over the lead and never looked back. Keith Martin, #85, won the season points opener for the Performance Transmission raceTX.com Limited Modified feature.
